Educators Professional retreat pd series

Educators can earn 4 to 12 SCECHs or MiRegistry Credits during a unique learning experience designed to inspire, renew, and strengthen instructional practices. Please join us in a relaxing environment on the Detroit River where collaboration and reflection will prepare you for a new constructive and productive school year. This retreat-style series will offer educators a welcoming space to engage in meaningful conversation about pedagogy, student engagement, and innovative teaching practices. We hope you will join us for a fun and enriching experience to start the 2026 – 2027 school year with your wellbeing in mind.

Experienced teachers and leaders from the Michigan Department of Education, Wayne RESA, and National Heritage Academies will facilitate a series of learning opportunities designed to improve teaching practices and enhance student learning outcomes in a serene atmosphere on the Detroit River. Come learn in the sun and have some fun before returning to the honorable duty of educating students.
