One black and white photographic print (and one 5" x 4" and one 10" x 8" negative) of the first can filler in the Stroh Brewery Company's packaging department. The employee next to the canner is Ed Griesl, packaging supervisor. He watches as the cans come down single file from the conveyor belt and into the carousel-looking machine. There are 15 cans in the canner. The canner is in between other pieces of machinery. Handwritten in pencil on the verso reads "First can line, prob. 1951-52." Handwritten in green pen on the verso reads "6."
