There is typewriter print in the top left corner that says "10423-1- / 4-5 ton Federal Tractor / Model 94x43 / This is an illustration of a 94x43 cab-over-engine unit built by the / FEDERAL MOTOR TRUCK COMPANY for the Army Ordnance. It is one of the / most popular tractor units utilized by our armed forces and is being / used in every theatre of war for transporting food, gasoline and / ammunition to our boys on the front line. Trucks like this one shown / are being extensively used in Europe at the present time and may be remembered for the big part they played in the "Red Ball Express." There is then a dark stamp centered at the bottom that says "ORIGINAL / PHOTOGRAPH / Owner ____ / Photo No. 10423-1 / Capacity____ / Truck No. ____ / ----9-21-43 / Model 94x43 / Factory." Some of the stamp is faded/smudged and illegible.
