Ambrotype

One Ambrotype of a young man. The man is clean-shaven with dark curled hair which is brushed to his left side. He is formally dressed in a dark-colored suit with a bow tie and white undershirt.

The photograph is stored within a bronze/copper frame which has a central rectangular opening with curved edges. The inside edges are engraved with a ribbon design. The frames outside edges are decorated with line and leaf engravings. The frame is mounted within a brown wooden and leatherette case which has an inner white fabric lining with a protective white fabric pad on the side opposite to the frame. The inner edges of the case are lined with a golden wave design. The case has a brown leather exterior with an envelope-styled closure which has a central metal clasp.
