One Vidicon cathode ray tube, model number 40HB4, made by Matsushita Electric Industrial Company, Ltd., of Japan. The small television display tube is made of glass and metal. It contains an assembly of precision-made parts and was used in a television camera.

The tube has a rectangular, flat display screen which tapers to a long glass cylinder on the back. Six short metal prongs form a plug at the end of the glass cylinder. A white adhesive paper label on the side has black printed text that reads "Matsushita, Made in Japan," and "40HB4, TSG."
