Token, Commemorative

One commemorative token from a cruise aboard the passenger steamship, SS Western States, of the Detroit & Cleveland Navigation Company. The circular token is made of stamped aluminum. It has cut-outs around the center that form a star and has a small stamped anchor at the center along with text that reads "Great Lakes." Raised text along the perimeter reads Room I, Western States, July 30, 49." The token has a decorative beaded design along the outer border. The verso has a similar border with small stamped text at the center that reads "My D&C Cruise."
