"Your Partners in Preserving America" Wildlife Stein Collection

One beer stein made by GERZ GmbH of West Germany. The ceramic stein is glazed with earth tones and features three different scenic images of grizzly bears. It has a decorative pewter flat top rim, hinged lid, and thumblift. A small metal tag hangs from the top of the handle. The pewter lid features an embossed National Audubon Society logo and a miniature grizzly bear near the thumblift. Glazed text on the front of the stein reads, "The National Audubon Society and The Stroh Brewery Company" and "Your Partners in Preserving America." In between the text is a scene of two grizzly bears in a grass field. A small body of water and a mountain range are in the background. Embossed text on the pewter base of the stein reads, "Your Partners in Preserving America."

The stein was released as a joint collaboration between the National Audubon Society and the Stroh Brewery Company. It is the first in a series of "Your Partners in Preserving America" Wildlife Stein Collection. The production of the stein was limited to 20,000 pieces. The stein comes with a Certificate of Authenticity stating it is number 01651.
