Upper half of a pair of hand-painted signs on Masonite (see also 2007.004.168b), presumably from Walker and Company, this section advertising the Detroit City Gas Company. The sign bears the image of a seated bride in a pink dress against a blue background, surrounded by the text, "Make Her Dream Come True - a Home of her own__with Gas Heat. Detroit City Gas Co." On the left edge of the sign is the upper half of an image of a thermometer, against a background gradient of red to yellow. The area between and surrounding the two images is light brown.
