Plate, Soup
One large soup plate from a dining room of the Imperial Oil Steamship Company tankers, Imperial Sarnia or Imperial Windsor. The round plate is made of heavyweight, white glazed china. It has a slightly curved, upturned rim with a thickened outer edge. A narrow red stripe encircles the plate along the outer edge. A blue and white image of the "Esso" flag is stamped on one area of the rim. The underside is stamped with a small crown logo and black text that reads "Duraline, Super Vitrified, Grindley Hotelware Co., England," and "4-69."
