Plate, Dinner

One dinner plate from the dining room of the MV Henry B. Jordon of the United States Steel Corporation. The round plate is made of heavyweight, white glazed china. It has a flat, slightly-upturned rim with a thickened outer edge. Narrow blue stripes encircle the rim along the outer and inner edges. Between the stripes, blue text is stamped on the rim that reads "M.V. H.B. Jordon." On the opposite rim, the blue "USS" company logo is stamped. The underside is stamped with black text that reads "Mayer China, Beaver Falls, PA, U.S.A.," and "457."
