North American

The model is mounted on a rectangular oak wood base that has been finished with a light brown stain and a semi-gloss lacquer. Narrow columns of matching wood are located at each corner to provide a framework for protective plexiglass panels on the four sides. A matching wood panel is attached to the top with wood a single wood screw at each corner column. A small brass plate is mounted on the base near the bow and has engraved text that reads "North American, 259 x 47 x 18, 1913-1967."
