Fan
One folding handheld fan. The fan has black papier-mache sticks with a painted design of gold scrolls and colored flowers, as well as a small mirror on one side. On the fan itself, there are paper leaves (hand-painted litho) with a scene of young ladies and gentlemen on a picnic. There is a gold decoration painted across the top and sides. On the back side, there is a different scene of young ladies and gentlemen on a picnic.
The fan belonged to Mrs. D.B. Gillette, who was the grandmother of Mrs. Adam Strohm (Cecelia B. McConnell).
