Pen and ink drawing of a woman's coat and matching dress, signed by designer Ruth Joyce. The coat features a peter pan collar, four buttons above the waist, an asymetrical vine-like pattern along the upper portion, and is shown on an abstracted figure in the front view. The dress has a matching pattern to the coat, a high neck, no sleeves, a sheath shape, and a scalloped cut around the neck and bottom. A swatch of black lace material is attached to the lower left corner of the sheet. Joyce's signature is at the lower right. The drawing paper is taped to a pink paper backing.
