Bowl: white ceramic; diameter tapers at about a 30 degree angle down its length, until reaching the carinated base, which juts in at roughtly 45 degrees; orangish brown stains; no maker's mark; recovered from wreck of the schooner ALVIN CLARK, which foundered in Lake Michigan in 1864.
