The pictured members are identified in a key below the image as Ron March (president), Don Jackson (vice-president), Raymond Johnson (financial secretary), Gerald Wooten (recording secretary), Carlos Williams (treasurer), Betty Griffith (trustee), Charles Roberts (trustee), Grover Douglas (Trustee), Don Gaitor (sergeant-at-arms), and Lafayette Philyaw (guide). Printed text below lists 16 demands that the labor group was presenting to the United Auto Workers leadership at the Chrysler Hamtramck Assembly Plant (Dodge Main). Large text at the bottom of the sheet reads, "young, gifted, and black."
