Directions for Orrine No. 1, the secret alcoholism remedy, intended for unknowing patients, from the Orrine Company of Washington D.C. It is to be slipped into food or drink three times a day. Symptoms should disappear between four to ten days. For the "periodic drinker," treatment should continue at the normal dosage for six to eight weeks, then at a reduced amount for six to eight months. The directions are reprinted in German, in a blackletter typeface, on the recto, and in French and Spanish on the verso.
