Bookcover
Bookcover for the Hudson's Circulating Library, the left side contains the J.L. Hudson Company logo with the following text underneath:
"From Short Notes
-a Long Friendship
Ever been lonely-and then have the mailman come? Funny, isn't it, how much brighter the day seemed, how you carried a little warm-hearted feeling with you all day-just because a friend wrote. Why not give as wonderful a gift in return, when it's so easy to choose a cheery card, to jot a message and mail. Do what so many clever people do, keep an assortment of appropriate cards on hand, ready when you need them. You'll find a wonderful selection in Hudson's
Greeting Card Section
Near the Entrance to the Circulating Library
FORM 446 100M MULTI."
The center of the sign features a vertically elongated rectangle with a decorative border and a J.L. Hudson Company logo against a purple background.
The right side of the cover features an image of people browsing the library with the text: "Hudson's Circulating Library" underneath. Underneath that is text reading: "Rental 3c Daily The J.L. Hudson Company Detroit", text on the far right side reads as follows:
