January 1930 edition of The Anchor, a newsletter-style desk blotter printed on white card in black ink by Anchor Press Inc.. The header at the top reads "THE ANCHOR / Published monthly in the interest of inexpen- / sive quality printing by Anchor Press, Inc., / Fort Street, at West Grand Boulevard, Detroit / Vol. X JANUARY 1930 No.1." The edition is divided into the subheadings "Detroit in 1879," and "Save Money in 1930." The first section features an illustration of a dock scene as well as information about the Detroit Stove Works and the J.H. Morris Livery. The second promote the services of Anchor Press. The verso is white.
