Carlson on a exploration of the Harley, Ellington and Day designed Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum, where he'll discuss sculptural embellishments modeled by Corrado Parducci, windows fabricated by Willet Studios of Philadelphia and the mausoleum designing legacy of architect Alvin Harley and his related firms. A small section of the cemetery grounds will also be explored. Significant burials and interments covered in this lecture, among many others, include 15-year-old Peter Whyte who died along with hundreds of others in a two-jet collision over the Grand Canyon in 1958, Fred Zeder, a close collaborator of Walter P. Chrysler who was instrumental in the formation of the Chrylser Corporation, Walter O. Briggs, former owner of the Detroit Tigers, and Charles T. Fisher, the second oldest of the eight Fisher Brothers.
