The Dossin doesn’t just preserve Detroit’s history. It overlooks the river that helped write it. For one unforgettable evening, guests will experience the museum and waterfront in an entirely new way, with live jazz, cocktails, a strolling dinner, a live cigar-rolling demonstration, and panoramic views of the river as freighters make their way past.
The evening also features a live auction, an opportunity to take home a bottle from a curated collection of wine and spirits, and a special program celebrating the stories entrusted to the Detroit Historical Society. The celebration continues on the riverfront patio with DJ WaltAmore, espresso martinis, late-night bites, and dancing beneath the stars.
Proceeds from Dossin After Dark help ensure the Dossin Great Lakes Museum continues to connect Detroit’s past to the river that shaped its future—and keeps the stories carried by its ships, industries, and waterways alive for generations to come.
