Michigan Senior Olympics
The Michigan Senior Olympics (MSO) was founded in 1979 as a member of the National Senior Games Association. The MSO initially channeled their efforts into the annual Summer Olympic Games with the first games hosted by the City of Pontiac at the Pontiac Silverdome.

The Detroit Historical Society holds more than 200,000 artifacts in its collection.
