Historic Houses of Worship Tour Series



Since 1972, the Historic Houses of Worship Tour Series has acquainted metro Detroiters with the contributions religious institutions have made in the development of our community. Tours highlight the importance of maintaining and preserving these historic sites as living history. These tours are co-sponsored by the Detroit Historical Society and the National Society of Colonial Dames of America in the State of Michigan.

Unless otherwise noted, all tours run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and both depart from and return to the Detroit Historical Museum.

Ticket Prices are as follows:

$30 per person for Detroit Historical Society Members
$40 per person for Guests

All tours include transportation to and from the sites and a light lunch.

NOTE: Due to the popularity of these tours, it’s recommended that you make reservations well in advance. No individual or group reservations will be held without payment in full. No refunds will be given.
